I've never been an inspiring writer. I'm mostly a reader. Reading is my passion. Other great writers inspire me to try to take a whack at this. So, that's what this blog is for. I've had blogs in the past, but I've never kept up with them. Plus when I go back to look through them, I think I'm ridiculous and petty. But hey, I'm twenty now...so practically an affulent person of the world.
I guess I might complain a little, be in awe a little, be passionate, angry, clever, lacking, rude, etc. I have pictures to share, lyrics, excerpts and all in all, I want a place to figure it all out. WOW, I set high hopes for this blog. Don't hold me to it.
Anyways, feel free to read or not.
So, sitting right in front of me is my new women's devotional Bible. It's still in the plastic wrap and everything. I went to the Lifeway Christian Store with my mom and hey, this Bible was on sale for five dollars. Now, I've been struggling for a long time about making a commitment to this book. I've read hundreds of other books but this is one I'm hesitant about reading cover to cover. I'm kind of excited about this new one, because my other Bible was half scripture and half reference, which got insanely tedious. So anyways, wish me luck. I'll tell you how this works out.
Three Things That Made Me Happy Today
1. Making Oreo Truffles (I call them Oreo Balls). They're awesome.
2. Finding out I have two classes with my friend Kammy
3. Listening to the CD Travis burned me of Owl City songs
"Swirl me around your room with feeling
And as we twirl
The glow in the dark stars on your ceiling
Will shine for us."

I play it so much that the very walls of our house know the lyrics, and they like it!
ReplyDeleteAnd they don't get old, and even if it seems like that I always go back to them.
But for 2 of them I have over 300 plays on my itunes and I still love them.
Take that!
P.S. You inspired me Katherine! Now i blog too!
